Morning, let’s get back into it.
Starting with this a simple instructional video featuring the man about to take control of the US border, about how to deal with bad faith actors trying to manipulate public perception. It’s all here, the mock sad face voice (I’m the compassionate one), the repeating of the same point in the hope you’ll fall into the trap that’s laid within it, the ignoring of other facts that disarm the trap; thoroughly dishonest communication. You win by not playing their game, knowing your business and stating the truth free of any care for perception. Remember they’re not attempting to have a conversation, they’re trying to win. They want you to be scared of saying the thing that might be perceived negatively because that’s the rule of their own game. They police their own speech constantly because one incorrect word could have them outcast from their group of self appointed moral abitors and they expect you to do that same. You do not have to. Boil this down and the simplest way to explain it is the chad ‘yes’ meme.
If you believe what you’re saying you should have no fear of doing this. You should understand the reasons for your answer in order to explain your thoughts should you wish to, but remember you’re under no obligation to do so. If you do choose to, then refuse to be be dragged into other arguments, regardless of the bait that’s presented to you. Consistently return to the matter in hand.
