Evening, I hope everyone is having a good week.
Thought I’d share this firstly because to be honest it’s quite a cool looking video and I’ve never seen an ICBM hitting. Then secondly just to lead into why I don’t think we’re at the brink of WW3/Nuclear war etc, at least not as close as the media would like you to think. Some in the WhatsApp group have heard a bit of this already, but the majority of readers aren’t in it, so I’ll lay it out. Set aside ‘Russia man mad and bad’ and put yourself in his shoes. We’re almost two years into this war now and he pretty much has all the land that he’s stated he wants and Ukraine still aren’t part of NATO, so for the moment his objectives are met - unless you think he’s trying to drive tanks into Paris, in which case I’d suggest you listen to too much of terminally stupid characters like Tobias Ellwood. Globalists in the US, UK and other European governments have been trying to bait him through arming Ukraine and loosening Zelensky’s leash for a year at least, hoping he retaliates with some sort of spectacular that means they can lock in a conflict that draws in NATO. To this point all Putin’s done is outline where his red lines are. Now with a month to go until Trump takes over we see more escalation from the US and UK in green lighting the use of their armaments to launch attacks within Russia, which have now taken place. This is a last ditch attempt to lock Trump into a war he’s said he’s going to end and his backers want finished. Understand the people you’re dealing with here, you cannot hate these politicians enough. Willing to risk a nuclear war or at the minimum a large scale conflict in order to fuck over Trump’s administration. As a brief aside, it’s crazy that in the US the losing administration gets a month to sabotage the next administration prior to handover. What we see here from Putin using the ICBM with non-nuclear warheads is close to a final warning, but I doubt it’s final. To return to the logic of all of this, he’s resisted nuclear retaliation for over a year, he has his objectives met and the man who has stated he wants the war finished is coming into power in a month; would you throw everything away in nuclear war, or just suck it up for the final stretch? Remember Trump is the guy who you supposedly have a good relationship with, or even if you believe what the democrats have been saying for 4 years, he’s the guy who’s either in your pocket or is so stupid that you will get everything you want anyway. Getting to the Trump presidency is the winning state for Putin, I think it’s going to take something mental from the West to ensure he makes a losing choice. Imagine if we were looking at a Harris administration, then I’d be worried.
‘But Gaz, you’re supporting Putin??’ Grow up.
