It’s the power of memetic communication, it’s instant and non intellectual, you just know. You don’t choose to become a meme, but when you do one of the best things you can do is accept and lean in to it just enough to give a nod. He should absolutely use this as his walk out music and not acknowledge anything about it, no comments or quips, just walk out to it straight faced and give your speech. Some people aren’t even going to notice, but for those who do, the feeling that he’s ‘one of us’ will be strong enough to turn those on the edge decision wise. Should that be how this shit works in politics? No. But does it have impact, yes, and you need to take it into account for that reason.
Andreessen has a proper sense of humour so there’s as much of chance he’s joking here as he’ll actually do it, but he absolutely should.
